Mike Lawrence
Chief Operating Officer
Mike Lawrence is a senior leader who manages T3W’s multi-million-dollar budgets. After 27 years of military service, Mike retired as a Marine Corps colonel. He logged more than 4,500 flight hours, commanded a Marine Corps Light Air Attack Squadron in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and was stationed at the Pentagon as a senior Marine Corps readiness analyst for the Secretary of Defense. His final assignment was Commanding Officer of Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton where he managed hundreds of Marines and a civilian support staff.
After his retirement in 2012, he became the Director of a San Diego based IT company where he oversaw DoD Readiness IT contracts worth up to $38 million annually. He also worked as the Chief Operating Officer of a pharmaceutical company. Mike has extensive experience overseeing government contracts and enhancing business development with the capture planning and proposal writing process.
Mike is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. He received his M.A. in Government and Strategic Studies from the United States Marine Corps War College.
