The Missile Defense Agency’s SHIELD Multiple-Award IDIQ supports the rapid delivery of advanced, multi-domain missile defense capabilities to protect the U.S. homeland, deployed forces, allies, and partners. SHIELD enables detection, tracking, and defeat of ballistic, hypersonic, cruise missiles, and other advanced aerial threats across all phases of flight. It serves as a key contracting vehicle supporting the Golden Dome initiative.

The Polaris GWAC is a family of Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery, and Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to provide customized Information Technology (IT) services and IT services-based solutions. The principal nature of any resulting task order procurement must be for IT services; however, ancillary support may be included when it is integral to and necessary for the IT services-based effort.

Polaris allows all contract types at the task order level (e.g., Cost Reimbursement (all types), Fixed Price (all types), Time and Materials, and Labor Hour). Task orders may also combine multiple contract types (e.g., FFP/Cost, FFP/Labor Hour, etc.).
